Miami, FL – May 7, 2026 – The Wine Project by acclaimed Brazilian photographer Marcos Alberti arrived in Miami for a vibrant new chapter of the internationally recognized photographic series. Bringing together photography, wine and human connection, the Miami Edition captured the city’s distinctive energy through the expressions and personalities of people who help shape its dynamic hospitality scene.
Created by Marcos Alberti in collaboration with sommelier Amy Racine, the experience gathered a diverse group of guests in an intimate and lively setting. Surrounded by conversation, creativity and the unmistakable rhythm of Miami, each participant became part of a visual narrative celebrating individuality, cultural diversity and the connections that naturally emerge when people share the same table.
At the heart of the project was Alberti’s signature concept: photographing each guest upon arrival and again after each of three glasses of wine. The resulting sequence reveals a gradual and genuine transformation. Formal expressions soften, personalities emerge and every portrait becomes a record of a moment that cannot be repeated.
Miami brought a unique character to the project. Colorful, playful and constantly evolving, the city created the ideal setting for an edition centered on artistic freedom and emotional spontaneity. The atmosphere moved naturally between intimate and energetic, allowing each portrait to reflect both the individuality of its subject and the collective spirit of the gathering.
The experience was enriched by Esporão wines, which accompanied the participants throughout the photographic journey, and made possible with the support of Singer. Together, the project’s collaborators helped create an environment in which wine became more than part of the experience: it became a bridge between people, stories and cultures.
For Marcos Alberti, the Miami Edition represents another step in the international journey of The Wine Project. Nearly a decade after the original series became a global phenomenon, the concept continues to reveal something universal: behind the roles people play in everyday life, there is always a more open, spontaneous and deeply human expression waiting to emerge.
The Wine Project Miami Edition celebrates precisely that transformation: four photographs, three glasses and one authentic human story.
